Peter Anthony
Musician, Painter, Composer, Entertainer
Wolfgang, or just Wolf, as his friends call him, is an award winning veteran musician and recording artist from Europe, who has performed in many concert halls and other venues for international audiences. He appeared in several European TV shows and played roles in two movies (sadly no Oscar). Some of his compositions have been featured in films and videos. EMI, the largest record company in the world, offered him and his band “The four Windows” a record contract. They produced an album and a number of singles, of which Wolf’s “Lonely Seagull”, became an instrumental hit in Europe in 1982. Wolf left the band in 1985 and moved to the USA. After moving from Europe to Florida’s East coast in 1987, Wolf performed in different venues and even played lead guitar in the Miami based Reggae band “Dreadful Riddim”, followed by entertaining guests at a popular restaurant in Fort Lauderdale three times a week for three years. After moving to Naples, FL in 2004, Wolf took a musical pause and to focus on his other passion, oil paintings. He produced a number of oils, drawings and digital art. Some of his paintings were featured at the Von Liebig Art Center in Naples, Florida. Later, he returned to entertaining audiences in upscale clubs, from Port Royal to Bay Colony and others, with the great hits of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Tom Jones and many others. He also entertained the old folks at the upscale retirement home Aston Gardens in Naples once a month for several years. They loved him there, as his music always brings back Memories!
